Ben Moon Quarantine Drawings - Beyond the Veil
Acclaimed multimedia artist Ben Moon takes on the quarantine, technology, racism, and the media in a set of pen and ink drawings that aim to pierce our cultural cataract and allow the light of our vitality to shine anew. In this series he skewers the evil, the ironic, and the absurd, sparing no illusion or ideology and yet he still finds a way to celebrate the spirit that rises above it all.

"This piece has been inspired by various Gnostic, mythological, alchemistic, occult writings, manuscripts and diagrams that I've been exploring this past summer. I find a great parallel between our present time and the culture which surrounded the creation of these documents; an odd mix of the beginning of a "scientific" approach to understanding the mechanics of nature, combined with a heavy infusion of ancient superstition and magical thinking."
